Pionier der Karten- und Lithografieproduktion
Russell, Morgan & Co., ein Unternehmen aus Cincinnati, wurde 1867 gegründet, als A.O. Russell und Robert J. Morgan mit finanzieller Unterstützung des Showmans John Robinson den Druckbereich des Cincinnati Enquirer kauften. Im Jahr 1891 wurde das Unternehmen zur United States Printing Company und später zur United States Lithograph Company. Neben dem Druck für die Unterhaltungsindustrie stellte das Unternehmen auch Spielkarten her. Bis 1894 war das Spielkartengeschäft so groß geworden, dass es vom Druckunternehmen abgespalten wurde und zur United States Playing Card Company wurde. Das Unternehmen ist noch heute tätig und der größte Spielkartenhersteller der Welt, der Marken wie Bee, Bicycle, Hoyle und Aviator produziert.
