Russell, Morgan & Co., un'azienda di Cincinnati, fu fondata nel 1867 quando A.O. Russell e Robert J. Morgan acquistarono la sezione di stampa del Cincinnati Enquirer con il sostegno finanziario dell'impresario teatrale John Robinson. Nel 1891, l'azienda divenne United States Printing Company e successivamente United States Lithograph Company. Oltre alla stampa per l'industria dello spettacolo, l'azienda produceva carte da gioco. Nel 1894, il business delle carte da gioco era diventato così grande che fu separato dall'azienda di stampa, diventando The United States Playing Card Company. Ancora esistente, è il più grande produttore di carte da gioco al mondo, producendo marchi come Bee, Bicycle, Hoyle e Aviator.
