トランプと石版印刷を量産化
Russell, Morgan & Co. はシンシナティの企業で、1867年に A.O. Russell と Robert J. Morgan が興行師の John Robinson の資金支援を受けて『The Cincinnati Enquirer』の印刷部門を買収したことで設立されました。1891年、同社は United States Printing Company となり、後に United States Lithograph Company となりました。娯楽業界向けの印刷に加え、同社はトランプカードも製造していました。1894年までにトランプカード事業は非常に大きくなり、印刷会社から分離して The United States Playing Card Company となりました。現在も存続しており、Bee、Bicycle、Hoyle、Aviator などのブランドを擁する世界最大のトランプカードメーカーです。
