歌川国芳
動的な武者絵の浮世絵師
歌川国芳は、日本の浮世絵版画および絵画様式の最後の巨匠の一人であった。彼は歌川派の一員だった。 国芳の題材の範囲は多岐にわたり、風景、美人、歌舞伎役者、猫、そして神話上の動物などが含まれる。彼は伝説的な侍の英雄たちの戦いを描いた作品で知られている。その芸術作品には、西洋の風景画やカリカチュア（風刺画）の表現技法が取り入れられている。
