Willem de Famars Testas
Famoso por pinturas orientalistas
Willem de Famars Testas foi um pintor, desenhista, gravador e ilustrador holandês do século XIX, conhecido por suas pinturas e desenhos orientalistas. De acordo com o RKD, ele aprendeu a pintar com Jacobus Everhardus Josephus van den Berg e estudou na Academia de Belas Artes de Haia entre 1853 e 1854. Viajou para o Egito entre 1858 e 1860 e esteve em Bruxelas de 1872 a 1885. Tornou-se membro da sociedade de artistas Schilder- en teekengenootschap Kunstliefde em Utrecht. Sua filha, Marie Madelaine de Famars Testas, também se tornou pintora.
