波兰裔美国插画师
瓦迪斯瓦夫·泰奥多尔"W.T."本达是一位波兰画家、插画家和设计师。 W.T. Benda 是音乐家 Jan Szymon Benda 的儿子，也是女演员 Helena Modrzejewska（在美国以 Helena Modjeska 之名闻名）的侄子。他在祖国波兰的克拉科夫工艺与艺术学院以及奥地利维也纳的美术学院学习艺术。他于 1899 年来到美国，探望当时居住在加利福尼亚州的姑姑 Helena。他留了下来，并于 1902 年移居纽约市，在那里他就读于纽约艺术学生联盟和威廉·梅里特·蔡斯学校。在此期间，Benda 师从 Robert Henri 和 Edward Penfield 学习。 他于1907年加入插画家学会，1916年加入建筑联盟，并于1911年归化成为美国公民。他还是国家壁画家协会的成员。 他在纽约度过了余生。本达与罗莫拉·坎普菲尔德结婚，他们有两个女儿，埃莱奥诺拉和巴西亚，两人都是艺术家。
