瓦迪斯瓦夫·西奧多·本達
波蘭裔美國插畫家
瓦迪斯瓦夫·泰奧多爾「W.T.」本達是一位波蘭畫家、插畫家和設計師。 W.T. Benda 是音樂家 Jan Szymon Benda 的兒子，也是女演員 Helena Modrzejewska（在美國以 Helena Modjeska 之名聞名）的姪子。他在祖國波蘭的克拉科夫工藝與藝術學院以及奧地利維也納的美術學院學習藝術。他於 1899 年來美國，探訪當時居住在加利福尼亞州的姑姑 Helena。他留了下來，並於 1902 年移居紐約市，在那裡他就讀於紐約藝術學生聯盟和威廉·梅里特·蔡斯學校。在此期間，Benda 師從 Robert Henri 和 Edward Penfield 學習。 他於1907年加入插畫家學會，1916年加入建築聯盟，並於1911年歸化成為美國公民。他也是國家壁畫家協會的成員。 他在紐約度過了餘生。本達與羅莫拉·坎普菲爾德結婚，他們有兩個女兒，埃萊奧諾拉和巴西亞，兩人都是藝術家。
