Yasuyoshi Shirasawa
A nommé des plantes menacées
Yasuyoshi Shirasawa, également connu sous le nom de Homi Shirasawa, était un botaniste japonais qui a travaillé aux côtés de Tomitaro Makino, « le père de la botanique japonaise », à l’Université de Tokyo. Shirasawa a donné leur nom à de nombreuses plantes indigènes, notamment l’espèce menacée Picea koyamae et (avec Makino) le tilleul de Kyūshū, Tilia kiusiana.
