Yasuyoshi Shirasawa

Yasuyoshi Shirasawa, noto anche come Homi Shirasawa, era un botanico giapponese che lavorò a fianco di Tomitaro Makino, «il padre della botanica giapponese», all'Università di Tokyo. Shirasawa diede il nome a numerose piante autoctone, in particolare al Picea koyamae, specie in pericolo, e (insieme a Makino) al tiglio di Kyūshū, Tilia kiusiana.
