亚伯拉罕·范·迪彭贝克
鲁本斯弟子，神话题材画家
亚伯拉罕·范·迪彭贝克是弗兰德画派的荷兰画家。 范·迪彭贝克在斯海尔托亨博斯受洗。接受古典教育后，他成为彼得·保罗·鲁本斯的学生和助手。他创作神话和历史题材的作品以及肖像画。约1629年，他前往安特卫普，并在玻璃绘画领域取得初步成功，其作品包括当地大教堂中描绘“慈善行为”的彩窗。 多明我会教堂的类似作品展示了《圣保罗生平》的场景。范·迪彭贝克于1638年被画家行会接纳，并于1641年成为安特卫普皇家美术学院的院长。在访问意大利之后，这位艺术家开始主要进行油画创作和插画绘制。他的插画作品包括为米歇尔·德·马罗勒的《缪斯神庙画作》所绘制的五十八幅设计，由科内利斯·布洛马尔特雕刻。 在英格兰查理一世统治时期，范·迪彭贝克身处英格兰，除了为第一代纽卡斯尔公爵及其家族绘制肖像外，这位艺术家还为那位贵族的马术书籍绘制了插图。他于79岁时在安特卫普去世。
