Adam Pynacker

Adam Christiaensz Pynacker o Pijnacker fue un pintor de la Edad de Oro neerlandesa, principalmente de paisajes. Pynacker era hijo de un comerciante de vinos, que era miembro del vroedschap, o regencia de la ciudad. Viajó a Italia y estuvo ausente durante tres años. En 1658 se convirtió al catolicismo para casarse con Eva Maria de Geest, hija de Wybrand de Geest. Dos años más tarde, su suegro pintó su retrato como pendant de un retrato anterior de su esposa. En Schiedam bautizó a dos hijos, pero desde 1661 hasta su muerte, vivió en el Rozengracht en Ámsterdam.
