阿尔贝·巴尔特索恩
比利时氛围城市风景画家
阿尔伯特·贝尔特松是比利时画家、粉彩画家和版画家。他出生于根特。他的父亲是一位实业家和纺织品制造商。1882年，他开始就读于皇家美术学院，师从古斯塔夫·登·杜伊茨和让·德尔万。1887年，他首次以画家身份亮相，参加了分裂主义团体“飞跃”在布鲁塞尔举办的展览。 他继续在巴黎阿尔弗雷德·菲利普·罗尔的艺术学校学习，并于1889年在沙龙展出作品。次年，他陪同詹姆斯·恩索尔、弗朗茨·夏尔莱和其他比利时画家前往伦敦进行考察旅行。1894年，他协助创立了“奥斯坦德美术圈”。1894/95年间，他再次旅居巴黎，其画作《老佛兰德帆船》被卢森堡博物馆收藏，并参与了“自由美学”举办的展览。从1896年到1901年，他持续在欧洲各地展览，并多次获得金奖。 1913年，他担任根特世界博览会艺术评审团成员。第一次世界大战期间，他居住在伦敦，于1919年返回根特。同年，他被任命为比利时皇家学院院士。两年后，他的作品回顾展在布鲁塞尔的乔治·吉鲁画廊举行。他于1922年在根特去世。
