阿爾貝·巴爾特索恩
比利時氛圍城市風景畫家
阿爾伯特·貝爾特松是比利時畫家、粉彩畫家和版畫家。他出生於根特。他的父親是一位實業家和紡織品製造商。1882年，他開始就讀於皇家美術學院，師從古斯塔夫·登·杜伊茨和讓·德爾萬。1887年，他首次以畫家身份亮相，參加了分裂主義團體「飛躍」在布魯塞爾舉辦的展覽。 他繼續在巴黎阿爾弗雷德·菲利普·羅爾的藝術學校學習，並於1889年在沙龍展出作品。次年，他陪同詹姆斯·恩索爾、弗朗茨·夏爾萊和其他比利時畫家前往倫敦進行考察旅行。1894年，他協助創立了「奧斯坦德美術圈」。1894/95年間，他再次旅居巴黎，其畫作《老佛蘭德帆船》被盧森堡博物館收藏，並參與了「自由美學」舉辦的展覽。從1896年到1901年，他持續在歐洲各地展覽，並多次獲得金獎。 1913年，他擔任根特世界博覽會藝術評審團成員。第一次世界大戰期間，他居住在倫敦，於1919年返回根特。同年，他被任命為比利時皇家學院院士。兩年後，他的作品回顧展在布魯塞爾的喬治·吉魯畫廊舉行。他於1922年在根特去世。
