Alexandre-Évariste Fragonard
Pionier van de troubadourstijl
Alexandre-Évariste Coccinelle Fragonard was een Franse schilder en beeldhouwer in de troubadourstijl. Alexandre Évariste Fragonard was de zoon van de overleden rococoschilder Jean Honoré Fragonard. Hij trainde in het atelier van Jacques-Louis David, maar zijn vroege neoklassieke stijl maakte uiteindelijk plaats voor een meer romantische gevoeligheid. Hij werd geboren in Grasse en stierf in Parijs.
