安托万·德·法夫赖
奥斯曼与马耳他肖像画
安托万·德·法夫雷骑士是一位法国画家，以绘制奥斯曼帝国人物肖像以及马耳他主权军事教团大团长的画作而闻名。 1762年，安托万·德·法夫雷移居君士坦丁堡，并在那里度过了九年。他在路易十六时期绘制了大量描绘土耳其日常生活的风俗画，同时也刻画了当地人和外国显贵。尤其引人注目的是法国大使夏尔·格拉维耶·德·韦尔热讷伯爵（1717-1787）的肖像，他于1754年至1768年间居住在君士坦丁堡；以及其妻子安妮特·杜维维耶·德·泰斯塔（1730-1798）的肖像。她此前曾嫁给泰斯塔，后者是一位商人，也是几个世纪以来定居在佩拉的热那亚名门望族成员。法夫雷将大使及其妻子都描绘成身着华丽的土耳其服饰。
