安托萬·德·法夫賴
奧斯曼與馬爾他肖像畫
安托萬·德·法夫雷騎士是一位法國畫家，以繪製奧斯曼帝國人物肖像以及馬爾他主權軍事教團大團長的畫作而聞名。 1762年，安托萬·德·法夫雷移居君士坦丁堡，並在那裡度過了九年。他在路易十六時期繪製了大量描繪土耳其日常生活的風俗畫，同時也刻畫了當地人和外國顯貴。尤其引人注目的是法國大使夏爾·格拉維耶·德·韋爾熱訥伯爵（1717-1787）的肖像，他於1754年至1768年間居住在君士坦丁堡；以及其妻子安妮特·杜維維耶·德·泰斯塔（1730-1798）的肖像。她此前曾嫁給泰斯塔，後者是一位商人，也是幾個世紀以來定居在佩拉的熱那亞名門望族成員。法夫雷將大使及其妻子都描繪成身著華麗的土耳其服飾。
