Peintre kyotoïte méconnu

Élève du célèbre peintre de Kyoto Kishi Ganku (1756–1838), Ariyoshi Kondo était un artiste renommé qui figurait dans le Heian jinbutsu shi (un Who's Who japonais des personnalités éminentes). Kondo est mort jeune, au milieu ou à la fin des années 1850, avant d'avoir pu établir son véritable héritage, et il reste aujourd'hui relativement méconnu.
