August Heinrich

Heinrich a étudié à Dresde et à Vienne, où il a fait la connaissance de membres de la confrérie des Nazaréens. En 1819, il a rencontré Johan Christian Dahl et Caspar David Friedrich. L'année suivante, il figurait parmi les élèves de Friedrich. Souvent de santé fragile, Heinrich est mort d'une maladie pulmonaire en 1822, à l'âge de 28 ans, alors qu'il se rendait pour la première fois en Italie.
