August Heinrich

Heinrich studiò a Dresda e Vienna, dove conobbe i membri della Confraternita dei Nazareni. Nel 1819 incontrò sia Johan Christian Dahl che Caspar David Friedrich. L'anno successivo fu elencato tra gli allievi di Friedrich. Spesso di salute cagionevole, Heinrich morì di una malattia polmonare nel 1822, all'età di 28 anni, mentre si recava per la prima volta in Italia.
