貝內代托·盧蒂
首創粉彩為獨立畫作
貝內代托·盧蒂是一位義大利畫家。盧蒂於1666年11月17日出生在佛羅倫斯。1691年，他移居羅馬，並獲得了托斯卡尼大公科西莫三世·德·麥地奇的贊助，後者是盧蒂粉彩肖像畫的熱心愛好者。盧蒂是最早將粉彩作為最終創作媒介的藝術家之一，而非僅將其用作油畫或壁畫的初步草圖。他還從事油畫創作並繪製壁畫，其中包括為拉特朗聖若望大殿所作的作品。 盧蒂還是一位成功的藝術商，並開辦了一所繪畫學校。1720年，他在羅馬聖路加學院被封為騎士，並當選為院長。
