Bernhard Keil
Discípulo de Rembrandt, barroco italiano
Bernhard Keil o Keyl fue un pintor barroco danés que se convirtió en alumno de Rembrandt. Keil nació en Helsingør. Según el RKD, fue alumno del pintor danés Morten Steenwinkel, quien se convirtió en alumno de Rembrandt en Ámsterdam entre 1642 y 1644. Entre 1645 y 1648 estuvo con Hendrick Uylenburgh y tuvo su propio taller entre 1649 y 1651. En 1656 viajó a Roma, donde permaneció registrado hasta 1687, año de su muerte. También trabajó en Bérgamo y Venecia. Fue influenciado por Jan Lievens y a su vez influyó en los pintores Pietro Bellotti (1627-1700), Antonio Cifrondi y Giacomo Francesco Cipper.
