Carl Hassmann
Historienmaler und Puck-Karikaturist
Als Maler und Illustrator historischer Themen war Hassmann Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts auch Karikaturist für das Magazin Puck. Er gestaltete viele farbige Titelseiten. Wie Pucks Gründer Keppler stammte er aus Wien, Österreich. Hassmann lebte von 1904 bis 1911 in den Vereinigten Staaten und arbeitete für Puck.
