Carl Millner
Paisajes alpinos detallados y luminosos
Carl Millner fue un pintor paisajista alemán. Hacia 1850, se trasladó de Mindelheim a Múnich para mejorar sus habilidades artísticas. Allí, recibió la influencia de Carl Rottmann y Eduard Schleich. Rápidamente se consolidó como un artista de éxito y fue más conocido por sus populares paisajes alpinos, meticulosamente representados con finos detalles y gran atención a la luz y la sombra. En 1857, se asoció con el marchante de arte Daniel Loffel y alcanzó la estabilidad financiera. Después de 1858, recibió lecciones adicionales de Julius Lange. Más tarde, aceptó a numerosos jóvenes aprendices para darles clases en su estudio. En 2012, la Galería Carl-Millner fue inaugurada en su ciudad natal de Mindelheim.
