찰스 그리니언
다작 영국 역사 판화가
찰스 그리니언 시니어는 영국의 판화가이자 도면사였다. 그리뇽은 위그노 난민의 자녀로 런던에서 태어났다. 그는 다작하는 역사 판화가이자 책 삽화가였다. 그는 런던 코벤트 가든에 있는 위베르-프랑수아 그라벨로 학교에서 공부했다. 또한 1748년 《제너럴 어드버타이저》에 게재된 크리켓 경기의 최초 기록을 판화로 제작했다. 1754년, 그의 조카인 찰스 그리니언 더 영거가 태어났다. 그의 조카는 차례로 역사화 및 초상화 화가가 되었다.
