Charles Jay Taylor

Charles Jay Taylor nació en Nueva York en 1855. Estudió derecho en la Universidad de Columbia y luego arte en la Art Students League, la Academia Nacional de Diseño (con Eastman Johnson) y el City College de Nueva York, así como en Londres y París. Contribuyó con ilustraciones al Daily Graphic de Nueva York y revistas como Harpers, Puck y Punch. Su libro 'Taylor Girls' le valió reconocimiento internacional.
