Charles Jay Taylor

Charles Jay Taylor nacque a New York nel 1855. Studiò legge alla Columbia University, poi arte alla Art Students League, alla National Academy of Design (con Eastman Johnson) e al City College di New York, nonché a Londra e Parigi. Ha contribuito con illustrazioni al Daily Graphic di New York e a riviste come Harpers, Puck e Punch. Il suo libro 'Taylor Girls' gli ha valso riconoscimenti internazionali.
