Charles Jay Taylor

Charles Jay Taylor nasceu em Nova York em 1855. Estudou direito na Universidade Columbia e depois arte na Art Students League, na Academia Nacional de Design (com Eastman Johnson) e no City College de Nova York, além de Londres e Paris. Contribuiu com ilustrações para o Daily Graphic de Nova York e revistas como Harpers, Puck e Punch. Seu livro 'Taylor Girls' lhe rendeu reconhecimento internacional.
