查尔斯·杰伊·泰勒

查尔斯·杰伊·泰勒于1855年出生于纽约。他曾在哥伦比亚大学学习法律，之后在艺术学生联盟、国家设计学院（师从伊士曼·约翰逊）和纽约市立学院学习艺术，并曾在伦敦和巴黎深造。他曾为《纽约每日画报》以及《哈泼斯》、《帕克》和《笨拙》等杂志提供插图。他的著作《泰勒女孩》为他赢得了国际声誉。
