코르넬리스 스프링어
네덜란드 도시 풍경 대가
코르넬리스 스프링거는 19세기 네덜란드의 도시 풍경 화가였습니다. 그는 목수였던 아버지 빌렘 스프링거(1778–1857)에게 사사했습니다. 또한 화가 헨드리크 헤리트 텐 카테, 카스파루스 카르센, 야코부스 판 데르 스토크에게도 배웠습니다. 그는 암스테르담의 화가 단체인 '펠릭스 메리티스'의 회원이 되었으며, 1847년 교회 내부를 그린 작품으로 금메달을 수상했습니다. 그는 수채화, 에칭, 드로잉, 특히 전국을 여행하며 스케치한 도시 경관과 마을 장면으로 유명합니다. 그는 1865년 벨기에 레오폴드 훈장을 받았으며, 1878년에는 요제프 이스라엘스와 함께 네덜란드 국립박물관 계획에 대해 네덜란드 공공사업부에 자문하도록 초청받았다. 그의 아들 레너드 스프링거는 조경 건축가가 되었다.
