巴洛克写实与笔触大师
迭戈·罗德里格斯·德·席尔瓦·委拉斯开兹是西班牙画家，菲利普四世宫廷的首席艺术家，也是西班牙黄金时代的代表人物。他是同时代巴洛克时期一位极具个人风格的艺术家。他早期以精确的暗色调主义风格作画，后来发展出一种更为自由、以大胆笔触为特征的画法。除了大量描绘具有历史和文化意义的场景外，他还为西班牙王室成员和平民绘制了众多肖像，其巅峰之作是1656年的杰作《宫娥》（Las Meninas）。 委拉斯开兹的艺术作品成为19世纪现实主义和印象派画家的典范。在20世纪，巴勃罗·毕加索、萨尔瓦多·达利和弗朗西斯·培根等艺术家通过重新诠释他最具标志性的画作，向委拉斯开兹致敬。
