Dirck van Bergen

Dirck van Bergen était un peintre de paysages de l'âge d'or néerlandais. Selon Houbraken, il fut l'élève d'Adriaen van de Velde, dont il copia très bien le style. C'était un homme populaire qui dépensait son argent aussi facilement qu'il le gagnait, et il passa quelque temps en Angleterre, mais mourut à Haarlem. Selon le RKD, son œuvre a ensuite influencé Wilhelm von Kobell.
