Dirck van Bergen

Dirck van Bergen era un pittore di paesaggi dell'Età dell'Oro olandese. Secondo Houbraken, fu allievo di Adriaen van de Velde, di cui copiò molto bene lo stile. Era un uomo popolare che spendeva i soldi con la stessa facilità con cui li guadagnava, e trascorse del tempo in Inghilterra, ma morì a Haarlem. Secondo il RKD, la sua opera influenzò in seguito Wilhelm von Kobell.
