도널드슨 석판화 회사
미국 석판 인쇄 및 간판 선구
도널슨 리소그래핑 컴퍼니는 오하이오주 신시내티에 기반을 둔 소규모 석판 인쇄 업체로 시작했습니다(1863년 8월 10일). 윌리엄 M. 도널슨과 헨리 엘름스는 파트너로서 회사를 설립했으며, 엘름스가 1872년에 사망할 때까지 함께 운영했습니다. 엘름스 사망 후, 도널슨은 회사를 단독으로 책임지게 되었습니다. 1883년, 도널슨은 사업을 공식적으로 '도널슨 리소그래프 컴퍼니'로 법인화했습니다. 1898년 켄터키주 뉴포트로 이전한 후 회사는 번창했습니다. 도널슨은 켄터키주 코빙턴에 예술 간판 제작을 전문으로 하는 또 다른 지점을 추가했습니다. 윌리엄 도널슨은 1931년 10월 22일에 사망했으며, 향년 91세였습니다. 회사는 1981년까지 가족이 운영했습니다.
