Edward Vincent Brewer
Illustratore folkloristico e ritrattista
Edward Vincent Brewer di Saint Paul fu la risposta del Minnesota al famoso illustratore Norman Rockwell. Dal 1911 al 1926, Brewer creò gli enormemente popolari annunci a pagina intera di Cream of Wheat che apparivano mensilmente su decine di riviste nazionali. Gli pubblicità rustiche dell'azienda di Minneapolis sono diventate oggetti da collezione. Figlio di uno dei più grandi ritrattisti di questo paese (e padre di un talentuoso ritrattista), Edward Brewer era anche un abile muralista e ritrattista. I suoi dipinti di leader del mondo degli affari, accademici e politici del Minnesota sono inclusi in numerose collezioni pubbliche e private.
