Étienne Aubry

Étienne Aubry foi um pintor francês. Aubry nasceu em Versalhes. Estudou com J. A. Silvestre e Joseph Vien, e logo se tornou conhecido por seus retratos e temas de gênero. Exibiu várias obras de grande mérito no Salon; mas sua vida foi interrompida no auge, ano em que (1781) havia exibido «A despedida de Coriolano de sua esposa».
