F. Earl Christy

F. Earl Christy est né en 1882 à Philadelphie, en Pennsylvanie. On pense que le « F » signifie « Frederic ». À 17 ans, il a peint des originaux pour la société Boardwalk Atlantic City Picture, et beaucoup de ses premières œuvres ont été publiées par la J. Hoover and Sons Calendar Company de Philadelphie. Il a fréquenté la Pennsylvania Academy of Arts de 1905 à 1907. Christy a produit des dizaines de couvertures de magazines, notamment pour Dell Publishing Company pour Modern Romances, Modern Screen and Radio Stars, Ainslee's magazine, American Magazine, Sunday Magazine of the New York Times, Collier's, Leslie's Illustrated Weekly, Liberty Magazine, McClure's Photoplay Magazine, et Puck Magazine.
