Francesco Curia était un peintre italien de la Renaissance, actif principalement dans sa ville natale de Naples. Il était le fils du peintre Michele Curia. Il fut l'élève du peintre Giovanni Filippo Criscuolo. Parmi ses élèves figuraient Fabrizio Santafede et Ippolito Borghese. Il était l'un des plusieurs artistes résidant à Naples qui étaient influencés par le style de Giorgio Vasari.
