Francesco Curia was een Italiaanse schilder uit de renaissanceperiode, voornamelijk actief in zijn geboortestad Napels. Hij was de zoon van de schilder Michele Curia. Hij was een leerling van de schilder Giovanni Filippo Criscuolo. Tot zijn leerlingen behoorden Fabrizio Santafede en Ippolito Borghese. Hij was een van de verschillende kunstenaars die in Napels woonden en beïnvloed werden door de stijl van Giorgio Vasari.
