フランスの風俗肖像画家
風俗画や肖像画を描いたフランスの画家François-Claudius Compte-Calixは、1813年にリヨンで生まれた。彼は地元の美術学校とJ. C. Bonnefondのスタジオで学び、1840年にパリ・サロンで初めて作品を展示した。1863年に描かれた『Vieil Ami』は、1867年のパリ国際博覧会に出品された。彼は1880年、リヨン近郊のChazay d'Azerguesで亡くなった。
