풍속화와 초상화를 그린 프랑스 화가 François-Claudius Compte-Calix는 1813년 리옹에서 태어났습니다. 그는 고향의 미술 학교와 J. C. Bonnefond의 스튜디오에서 공부했으며, 1840년 파리 살롱에서 처음으로 작품을 전시했습니다. 1863년에 그린 'Vieil Ami'는 1867년 파리 국제 박람회에 전시되었습니다. 그는 1880년 리옹 근처의 Chazay d'Azergues에서 사망했습니다.
