Friedrich Frank

Friedrich Frank fue un acuarelista y pintor de vedutas austriaco. Frank estudió pintura en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Viena. Después de graduarse, fundó un estudio de pintura teatral en Viena junto con Hermann Burghart. De 1914 a 1918, fue destinado como pintor de guerra al frente italiano. En 1930/1931, realizó viajes de estudio a Egipto y Palestina. En 1935, fue encargado de decorar el pabellón rumano en la Exposición Universal de 1937 en París. Durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, trabajó en su estudio en Freilassing, cerca de Salzburgo. Una bomba destruyó muchas de sus obras allí. Friedrich Frank se dedicó principalmente a la pintura de vedutas y también creó paisajes. Además, visitó Italia en sus viajes de estudio.
