Friedrich Johann Treml

Friedrich Treml, também conhecido como Johann Friedrich Treml, foi um pintor de gênero e aquarelista austríaco. Treml era filho do pintor teatral Friedrich Treml. Após estudar brevemente no Politécnico de Viena, voltou-se para a formação na Academia de Viena. Lá, foi particularmente encorajado por Peter Fendi. Em 1843, Treml casou-se com a sobrinha e filha adotiva de Peter Fendi. Treml pintava cenas de gênero, preferencialmente da vida militar. A partir de 1849, trabalhou quase exclusivamente para a corte vienense. Suas pinturas foram frequentemente litografadas, inclusive por Franz Xaver Sandmann, K. Lanzedelly e Johann Stadler, o que tornou as obras muito populares. Na escolha do assunto e do estilo, Treml foi fortemente influenciado por Carl Schindler. A Tremlweg em Viena-Siebenhirten foi nomeada em sua homenagem em 1959.
