老弗里德里希·普雷勒
德国风景画家与版画家
弗里德里希·普雷勒（老）是一位德国风景画家和版画家。自1832年起，他在魏玛的亲王自由绘画学校担任教授。他是艺术家弗里德里希·普雷勒（小）的父亲。 他出生于爱森纳赫。在魏玛学习绘画后，他于1821年听从歌德的建议前往德累斯顿，并于1824年受邀陪同魏玛大公前往比利时。他成为安特卫普学院的一名学生。从1827年到1831年，他在意大利学习，并于1831年在魏玛艺术学校获得教职。 1834年至1836年间，他在莱比锡的罗马之家以蛋彩画技法创作了六幅取材于《奥德赛》的画作；1836年至1837年间，他在魏玛大公城堡的维兰德厅绘制了带有《奥伯龙》场景的风景画；1836年至1848年间，他受大公夫人委托，创作了六幅以图林根题材为主题的湿壁画。 1840年，他访问了挪威，并创作了一批架上绘画作品，其中一些保存在魏玛。1859年，他再次访问意大利，并于1861年返回后为大公博物馆完成了描绘《奥德赛》的壁画，这些壁画被认为构成了他最主要的声誉。他回到魏玛，并在那里去世。
