Friedrich Sustris
Pintor ítalo-holandês e arquiteto da corte
Friedrich Sustris foi um pintor, decorador e arquiteto ítalo-holandês. Era filho do artista Lambert Sustris, que trabalhava na Itália. Sustris recebeu sua formação de seu pai Lambert em Veneza e Pádua. De 1563 a 1567, foi treinado por Giorgio Vasari em Florença, após retornar de uma estadia em Roma em 1560. Seu primeiro patrono foi Hans Fugger, que encomendou a decoração da mansão Fugger em Veneza. Era genro de Jan Kraeck. A partir de 1573, Sustris trabalhou para Guilherme V, duque da Baviera, em Landshut, antes de se tornar arquiteto-chefe da corte bávara com a ascensão de Guilherme ao trono em 1579.
