George Bryant Campion
Pintor paisajista acuarelista inglés
George Bryant Campion fue un pintor paisajista inglés de acuarela. Fue uno de los primeros miembros de la New Society of Painters in Water Colours, habiendo sido elegido en 1837, y fue un colaborador frecuente en las exposiciones de esa sociedad. Olden Times y Gathering Orach, ambas expuestas en el Institute of Painters in Water Colours (como se renombró a la sociedad en 1863) en 1869, son muestras justas de su arte. Fue durante algún tiempo maestro de dibujo en la Academia Militar de Woolwich. Aunque muchos sitios dicen que George Bryant Campion se retiró y murió en Múnich, falleció el 1 de abril de 1870 en Woolwich, Reino Unido. Otro error común es que fuera el autor de "The Adventures of a Chamois Hunter".
