George Bryant Campion
Acquarellista paesaggista inglese
George Bryant Campion era un pittore paesaggista inglese di acquerelli. Fu uno dei primi membri della New Society of Painters in Water Colours, eletto nel 1837, e fu un frequente contributore alle mostre di quella società. Olden Times e Gathering Orach, entrambi esposti all'Institute of Painters in Water Colours (come la società fu rinominata nel 1863) nel 1869, sono buoni esempi della sua arte. Fu per qualche tempo maestro di disegno all'Accademia Militare di Woolwich. Sebbene molti siti affermino che George Bryant Campion si sia ritirato e morto a Monaco, morì il 1º aprile 1870 a Woolwich, nel Regno Unito. Un altro errore comune è che fosse l'autore di "The Adventures of a Chamois Hunter".
