George Frederick Scotson-Clark

George Frederick Scotson-Clark è stato un designer di poster e illustratore britannico, figlio del reverendo Frederick Scotson Clark (1840-1883), un noto organista e compositore. È cresciuto a Brighton, in Inghilterra, dove è stato compagno di classe di Aubrey Beardsley. Ha lavorato negli Stati Uniti dal 1891 al 1897 come scenografo e costumista, nonché designer di poster teatrali. È stato direttore artistico di Century Magazine negli anni Novanta dell'Ottocento, e ha anche disegnato poster teatrali per giornali newyorkesi, poster di libri per Dodd, Mead, e poster per The Outing, 1896-1897. È tornato in Inghilterra nel 1897, dove ha continuato a produrre poster teatrali.
