George Trobridgeはイギリスの芸術家であり、その風景画と海景画はイングランド全域で大きな称賛を受けた。彼はまた、北アイルランドのベルファスト芸術学校の校長を21年間務め、著名な建築家Ernest George Trobridgeの父親でもあった彼はイングランド、ベルファスト・ランブラーズ・スケッチング・クラブ、およびダブリンで作品展を開催した。彼は『模型製図および自然スケッチに応用された透視図法の原理』（1884年）および『スヴェーデンボリ：その生涯、教えと影響』、そして『哲学の基礎』（1904年）を出版した。
