古斯塔夫·熱基耶
開創波斯考古並解讀金字塔文
古斯塔夫·熱基耶出生於瑞士納沙泰爾，並在此逝世。他是一位埃及學家，也是最早發掘現今伊朗境內古代波斯城市的考古學家之一。他是雅克·德·摩根1901年蘇薩探險隊的成員，該探險隊促成了著名的《漢摩拉比法典》的發現，該法典現藏於羅浮宮展出。 熱基耶在埃及學家加斯頓·馬斯佩羅和雅克·德·摩根的指導下開始了他的職業生涯，並專注於前王朝時期。他參與了由最高文物委員會贊助的重大發掘工作。 他在薩卡拉發掘了伊比金字塔和肯德傑爾金字塔等遺址，並在達舒爾、利斯特和馬茲古納進行了發掘。 他對金字塔文本的研究是理解這些宗教作品的重要一步。
