韓幹
唐代写実馬画を確立
韓幹(かんかん、706年頃–783年)は、唐代の画家で、京兆藍田(現在の陝西省藍田県)出身である。彼はかつて宮廷画家を務めた。 彼は馬を描くことで有名でしたが、人物、鬼怪、花、竹を描くのも得意でした。彼は曹覇と陳閎に師事し、実物の馬を観察して写生する方法を開拓しました。これにより、肥満で落ち着いた様子を描く馬の新しい様式が生まれました。彼の代表作には『照夜白図』と『牧馬図』があります。 彼は貧しい家庭で育ち、かつて居酒屋で働いていましたが、王維の支援を受けて10年以上絵画を学びました。後に宮廷で働き、厩舎に滞在して皇帝の馬を細かく観察し、筋肉や骨格を過度に強調する旧来の様式から脱却しました。 His paintings paid a lot of attention to the anatomy, fur color, and even the time of day and direction. "Zhaoye Bai Tu," now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the U.S., shows Emperor Xuanzong’s beloved horse raising its head and neighing. "Mu Ma Tu," housed in the National Palace Museum in Taipei, depicts two horses, one black and one white, walking side by side, with an inscription by Emperor Huizong of Song saying "Han Gan’s genuine work." The "Xuanhe Huapu" notes that he "developed his own unique style," and Su Shi commented, "Han Sheng paints horses that truly look like horses." His works had a lasting influence on later generations.
